Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party, outlined two main priorities which are Cambodia’s priority goals :
1) Cambodia continues to maintain peace, political stability for growth and socio-economic development
2) Cambodia focuses on socio-economic development in order to achieve sustainable development and facilitate people’s livelihood.
Samdech made the remarks at a working meeting between Samdech and Lok Chumteav Dr. Amida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chairman of the UN Economic and Social Commission(ESCAP) at 7 Makara Palace, Phnom Penh on the morning of January 22, 2024.
On this occasion, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations also thanked Samdech Techo for his positive views on the geopolitical challenges affecting our region and thanked Samdech Techo for supporting ESCAP. In the past, she also committed to continue cooperation with Cambodia, as well as in the area of socio-economic cooperation.
