On the morning of December 16, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan, during a meeting between Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Mr. Ko Yazaki, Executive Vice President of Yazaki Corporation, Samdech emphasized that industry and technology are sectors prioritize in promoting Cambodia’s development, and the Cambodia has new policies, new investment laws and new mechanisms, as well as the development of connectivity and logistics infrastructure to facilitate and provide effective incentives, favors and attractiveness for industrial and technological investment projects in Cambodia aimed at ensuring the ability to produce high value-added finished products for export.
The Prime Minister made this remarks during a meeting between the Prime Minister and the company on the occasion of the Prime Minister attending the 50th ASEAN-Japan Anniversary Summit from December 15-19, 2023.
Yazaki Corporation is a company that manufactures electronic components, has been investing in Cambodia since 2011 and plans to expand investment in Cambodia.
