On Tuesday morning, December 19, 2023, Samdech Moha BorvorThipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia said the Royal Government of Cambodia has been has been focusing on Human Resource Development, which need to be based on knowledge, capacity, and Health. Therefore, the food supply with quality and safety is the main priority.
His remarks was made during the meeting between SamdechThipadei and Mr. Katsunari Matsuda, President of Meiji Co., Ltd. During the 50th ASEAN-Japan Anniversary Summit from 15-19 December 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.
During the meeting, Samdech Thipadei encouraged a company to invest in agriculture producing directly for sale in the Cambodian market and exporting to neighboring countries and countries in the region that are in high needs for these products, and also encourageda company to help train Cambodian human resources in agricultural skills to contribute to increasing productivity in this sector.Moreover, Samdech Thipadei emphasized that the Royal Government of Cambodia has been payed attention to ensure the sustainability of a favorable atmosphere for business and investment through new policies, implementation mechanisms and legal frameworks to help facilitate and provide favorable and attractive encourage to investors who come to invest in Cambodia.
Mr. Katsunari Matsuda informed Samdech Thipdey about a company’s plan in product diversity and modern technology in Cambodia in the future. He also expressed his thanks to the Royal Government of Cambodia to fully support for the company’s business to run smoothly.
